Wire mesh filter disc is highly customizable to meet specific filtration requirements

Materials:Most commonly made from stainless steel wire mesh (like 304, 316, and 316L for corrosion resistance), but also available in materials such as galvanized steel, brass, copper, nickel, and various alloys for different operating environments.

Construction:

Single Layer: A simple, cost-effective option for general filtration.

Multi-Layer (Filter disc): Multiple layers of woven wire mesh, sometimes with varying mesh sizes, are combined through spot welding, edge covering, or sintering (bonding layers together under heat and pressure) to offer enhanced strength, precise pore sizing, and greater filtration efficiency.

Weave Types:The pattern in which the wires are woven determines the filtration

characteristics:

Plain Weave: Wires pass over one and under the next.

Twill Weave: Wires pass over two and under two, providing greater strength.

Plain Dutch Weave/Reverse Dutch Weave: Uses different diameters and counts for warp and weft wires to create very fine filtration apertures (microns) for critical processes.
