  The 1797-PS2E2A A-B power module is a module in the 1797 power module series that provides power to the PLC.This module has functions such as 24VDC output voltage,2A output current,short circuit protection,overvoltage protection,and over temperature protection.

  The Allen Bradley/Rockwell Automation 1797-PS2E2 power supply is manufactured as part of the Flex Ex and Flex I/O 1797 series.It is designed specifically for use in intrinsically safe systems.The 1797-PS2E2 power supply is used to isolate all unsafe input power sources from their associated control systems and limit the power supply to the IS safety rating level.It adopts an explosion-proof protective shell design,with an environmental protection level of IP 65.The operating voltage range of the 1797-PS2E2 power supply is 18 to 32 volts DC.

  The 1797-PS2E2 module is a FLEX EX I/O series intrinsically safe IECEX 24 volt DC rated power module designed and manufactured by Allen Bradley.The 1797-PS2E2 PSU(power supply unit)is one of the most important components of an intrinsic safety system.Its purpose is to isolate the hazardous areas of the input power circuit from the relevant electrical control circuit and prevent circuit problems from transferring from the input side to the output side.Another task of the 1797-PS2E2 module is to set limits on accessible energy and adjust it to a defined security level.All 4 output channels can be independently restricted by IS.The 1797-PS2E2 Safety IECEX PSU module provides 8.5 watts of power to each of its four output channels.This special equipment used in explosive environments provides a voltage rating of 24 volts DC,which is the only power source required for components connected to the FLEX Ex system in hazardous areas.The input connectors for 24 volt DC voltage are located at terminals 1,2,4,and 5.There are 4 terminals that can cover 2 power inputs to achieve source input redundancy.The acceptable input voltage range is 18 to 32 volts DC.

  The Allen Bradley 1797-PS2E2 4-Ex output DC power module adopts an IP 65/NEMA 7B fire-resistant enclosure,which improves the safety terminals for input and output.The sealing sleeve of the input DC power supply is M20x1 5,which can accept cables with a diameter of 6 to 12 millimeters.The power output sealing sleeve(4 in total)is M16x1 5 and can accept cables with a width of 4 to 8 millimeters.Through these cables,electricity is transmitted to actuators,valves,sensors,or transmitters.The 1797-PS2E2 module supports live plugging,allowing for cable connections in hazardous areas during system operation.

  The 1797-PS2E2A A-B power module adopts a modular design,which is easy to install.There is an LED indicator light on the front panel of the module,which is used to indicate the status of the module.
